As the masthead name suggests, the audience for this magazine would assumable be aimed at people interested in pop music. The font is bold, with rounded edges and very cartoonish which may suggest that it is also aimed at a younger less mature audience, whilst the radiant, bright colours also suggest youth.

The masthead for hot has changed slightly as to how it looked on the original design. The font is very similar yet it is curvier and has more volume, and it had to be worked into to make it more interesting as it needs to be something that catches the eye of the reader. It is curvy which suggests femininity yet the name and colour suggest passion or possibly raunchiness

this masthead would be typical of a pop magazine, one focussing mainly around the hottest new music, and the hottest new artists. I would focuss mainly around the gorgeous, fittest people in the music industry, tieing in with the masthead name. the colours used in the masthead are symbolic of the meaning of the title, and are relevant to heat.

This is another masthead design that would be more sophisticated and not aimed at a younger ‘teenage girl’ audience. It is mature, but not overly formal. The name from the magazine shows that it is very diverse and is not only aimed at one genre.

The images that i found to include for my moodboard really interested me, either because I thought the photography was particularly good, or the styles looked classy. The artists who are featured are ones that I particularly like, and I think that the layout of the articles that they were featured in looked interesting. There are a range of articles varying in styles. soem are busy,and colourful.
